I GPT'd this whole website lol
I hardly wrote any code to make this website. Like the most I did was fiddle with like text height or mess with object atributes. Iād say like I āunderstandā the code just because I understand the flow of code in general. But I really dont know the syntax nor would I be able to recreate this without the help of gpt.
At this point this is just the mvp of what I wanted this project to be - it will probably change a lot at some point in the future - especially the background and overall theme.
I think this notes section will probably change the least. I just plan to keep it really bare bones. The project tab looks really unpolished rn, once i get more stuff there I would like to add in tags and maybe try and give that page a cooler spin - something more dynamic and interactive?
Also, I guess it makes sense this website was so easy, Iām really not doing anything difficult. There is no authentication or even calls to an API system. The backend is a couple of markdown files. If I come up with an idea that needs those features, maybe Iāll add it in. Ultimately though, I donāt really want to sink a bunch of time into learning the ecosystem of web development. I love making chips and the stuff these websites run on.

Notion: Not For Me
I really tried to use Notion, I really did. It just didnāt really give me any results, and I always felt like there was so much there but lacked the feature I was really looking for. I guess my personal use is not what it is intended for, but I donāt think it is really great for anything except the tasks and moving them from New to In Progress to Done or whatever.
Like, I wanted to have a calendar planner feature, but I wanted it to be more top-level than just the single-month views available. But I just couldnāt get it to look like how I pictured it. I think you can make some nice stuff with Notion that sounds like it would be good and looks really nice, but it doesnāt actually help.
I used Notion extensively for managing my to-do during my spring semester of sophomore year. It was good while I had a lot of classes with a lot of assignments, but once I got to the classes where itās just a couple of big assignments, managing all the deadlines doesnāt really warrant such a big managing thing.
Maybe if you have a lot of people and youāre trying to see what everyone is spending their time on, it makes sense.
Yeah, so it just doesnāt help in my daily lifeā¦
Why was this the "F1 Movie"?
Finished it - horrible movie - I even went to see it in imax to try and give the movie the best shot success.
First off, the āF1 Movieā does a terrible job portraying formula one, but I knew that would be the case. The fact is F1 is not that interesting. Lots of races end up with only handful of overtakes and it is really boring. Usually one guy dominates the whole season with no storyline lol. I mean just look at Monaco every year. So I knew the racing would be dramatized.
Even with that aside it was horrible. The story was awful and incredibly demeaning to women. Its portrayal of woman in the movie is an insult to all women in motorsports. Why in this movie does the highest position woman we see have to breach a professional barrier? Also, the wheel gunner that makes a mistake being a woman and then she walks in on Brad Pitt in an ice bathā¦ who drew that up? That was so weird imo. I wonder what Hannah Schmitz feels about this movie - she is the former chief of strategy at Red Bull Racing during their recent championship years. Itās a agonizing to watch.
Okay besides that tho the rest of the storyline was over the top even for hollywood. Like we really needed Sunny to both have had a giant accident in his past (what is he Doc Hudson?) and then also have another one and then jackson also needed one? The crash at monza was comically terrible. Then causing all the safety cars and crashing was dumb because that is horribly illegal. It is one thing to make the racing look better but to have a storyline which is impossible to replicate in real life because it is incredibly illegal and package it all as the āF1 Movieā what a joke!
